The Present Simple
Questions in the present simple tense
Om een vraag te maken in de present simple tense, hebben we een hulpwerkwoord nodig. Dat is het werkwoord TO DO.

Het woordje DO of DOES (he, she, it) komt VOORAAN in de zin.

Example:
I like ice cream.        -->      Do I like ice cream?
He likes ice cream.  -->      Does he like ice cream?

Kijk wat er gebeurt met het hoofdwerkwoord. Dat heeft geen +s meer nodig.

Bob plays football.   becomes   Does Bob play football?
