We will be going online, and you will be asked some questions. I cannot help you with these questions, but we can discuss at the end. If you don't know how to answer a question there is a "I don't know how to do this yet" button.
There is no time limit
The results tell me how I can best help you in these sessions
If you need a brain break, let me know, as I know this can be overwhelming.

What is a percentage?
Percent means 'out of 100'. So, finding a percentage is finding how much something is out of 100.
Think of any measurement or object split into one hundred equal bits. Each bit is one percent of the whole thing.
They can be expressed as whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
Slide 8 - Slide
How do I work out the percentage?
Think of an object and imagine it is cut into 100 pieces
If 60 out of those 100 pieces are coloured/ highlighted it means 60%
40% means 40 out of 100
11% means 11 out of 100
76 out of 100?
29 out of 100?
35 out of 100?
Slide 9 - Slide
Use the information we just learned to figure out the percentages
Use what we just learned to figure out the following percentages
What are the following as a percentage?
1. 59 out of 100 =
2. 96 out of 100=
3. 78 out of 100=
4. 24 out of 100=
5. 3 out of 100=

What percentage is left?
Slide 11 - Slide
Charlie completes 20% of his homework before dinner. After he has eaten, he does 55% more. How much of his homework does he have left to do?
Is it:
A. 10%
B. 61%
C. 25%
D. 88%
How did you work it out?
Slide 12 - Slide
We would need to work out the percentage of homework he has done already by adding.
20% before eating
55% after eating
20+55= 75
Then we minus that number from 100
75 - 100= 25
Meaning he has 25% of his homework left to do

PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography basics:
Shoot from a different angles. Eye level is often not the best height from which to take pictures. Try squatting for a low angle, or standing on a chair for a high one.
Slide 17 - Slide
If the light is a little bit low, make sure to keep the camera steady, try using a tripod, flat surface or rest on your elbows to avoid blur.
Place the subject off-center. This is an easy way to make your pictures more interesting. But off-center composition makes locking the focus all the more imperative!
When shooting indoors, try using natural light from windows or the brightest interior lights you can find. Don’t be afraid to move your subject around or play with the lighting to get it right.
