Greek culture was very similar in all the poleis 
Poetry was a way to tell stories. This was entertainment.
Theatre. Poetic stories could be turned into a play. Actors would perform them.
Tragedy: a story that shows the flaws in humans
Comedy: a story that makes fun of society
