Dear + Sam,

Three paragraphs with 2 white lines in between

Paragraph 1: How are you Sam? It's been a while since we've been in touch. I'm doing great, though something has been bothering me lately.

Paragraph 2: I don't know if you've noticed this in your social media accounts, but quite often offensive or explicit pictures are shown. Just the other day I came across a picture of a girl who went to a foreign country for a beauty makeover, but this went horribly wrong. The picture showed how the face of this particular girl was completely swollen. Also, I noticed a picture of a man who had been brutally attacked by the enemy in the civil war. I feel Facebook should take action to make sure we as users aren't confronted with these pictures, especially when younger children are involved.

Paragraph 3: What about you, how do you feel about all this? Do you share my opinion on this? Let me know if you feel the same way, then maybe we can write to Facebook together to let them know something needs to be done. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Till then, take care!

Best wishes,
First name

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to complain about the display of explicit and offensive pictures in the social media content.

As a frequent user of social media, I often come across horrible pictures of war victims, patients with surgeries gone awry or sexually explicit pictures. Especially the latter is quite troublesome since you children can also be confronted with these. As you can imagine, they may be scarred for life when they accidentally view such things. Facebook is intended for meeting friends and acquaintances online, not to scare or insult people. I want my children, cousins and students to grow up safely in a respectful and friendly environment.

I want you to take action and remove all the offensive pictures to ensure a respectful and friendly platform. I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Yours faithfully, (name below this, initial + last name)
