  • What is a question tag?
  • A tag question is a short question that you use to ask for confirmation.
  • Het is een korte vraag aan het eind van een zin

When do you use tag questions?
When do you use it? 
EN - You use the short question to ask for confirmation. It is usually used in informal speech.
NL - Het is een korte vraag aan het eind van een zin die je gebruikt om bevestiging te vragen. Tag Questions gebruik je vooral in spreektaal.

Why: It is short question that you use in informal speech.

How do you use tag questions?
1. + hoofdzin, - tag question | - hoofdzin + tag question 
2. Tag questions zonder hulpwerkwoord. 
You know who he is, don't you. (You do know who he is, don't you?)
3. Gebruik altijd een persoonlijk voornaamwoord in tag question (Finn-he)
4. Onregelmatige persoonsvorm "I am, aren't I"? "I'm not, am I?"
