1. Practice  the vocabulary of the topics learnt in class. Make a list of vocabulary and adjetives you can use and the structures for describing the picture 
2. Keep Responses Simple and Clear but don´t repeat yourself: "Me gusta esta festividad porque es alegre (divertida)"/ Esta fiesta es muy animada (divertida). Look for different word to say the same idea.
3. Use Filler Phrases: To give yourself time to think, use simple filler phrases like "Pues..." (Well...) or "Déjame pensar..." (Let me think...). This shows confidence and gives you a moment to organise your thoughts.
4. Focus on Pronunciation and Intonation: Speaking clearly and with proper pronunciation can make a big difference. Practice common phrases out loud, and pay attention to accents and the rhythm of spoken Spanish.

5. Prepare and memorise key phrases: Having a few go-to phrases prepared for common situations (e.g., "No entiendo la pregunta" for “I don’t understand the question”) can help you navigate the exam smoothly and show that you are trying to communicate.

6. Listen carefully to the question: Make sure you fully understand the question before responding. If you’re unsure, ask for clarification with phrases like "¿Puede repetir, por favor?" or "¿Qué significa...?" This shows engagement and effort to understand.

7. Stay calm and confident: Nerves are normal, but try to stay composed. Slow down your speech if you feel anxious, and remember that I am there to support you, not to trick you. Confidence, even with mistakes, will leave a positive impression.

Los errores más comunes durante el oral

- Solo explicar la imagen, sin conectarlo con la cultura/contexto de España o Latinoamérica. 

- Hablar mucho de uno mismo. Debes hablar más de la imagen.

- No usar muchos sinónimos. 

- No escribir 10 "bullet points" durante la preparación (e-Assessment)

- No usar una variedad de tiempos verbales. 

- No tener en cuenta la concordancia de género y de número

- No hablar todo el tiempo en español.

- No conjugar bien los verbos regulares / irregulares

- No prestar atención a la pronunciación.

- Repetir las ideas.

• Haz un mind map o una lista de palabras relacionadas con la unidad Culturas por el mundo. ¿Qué palabras piensas que son importantes usar en tu examen oral?
• Haz una lista de adjetivos variados para describir las festividades
• ¿Qué tiempos verbales (tenses) crees que son importantes para cumplir con el requisito use a wide range of grammatical structures? Forma una frase con cada uno de los tiempos verbales.
