passive (lijdende vorm)

Bijvoorbeeld:
A tall man stole our car last friday  (bedrijvende vorm)
wordt:
Our car was stolen last friday. (lijdende vorm)

- Our car was stolen last friday by a tall man.

De passive maak je door:
to be + voltooid deelwoord (3de rijtje)

was stolen.

steal - stole - stolen.

Slide 5 - Slide

De passive komt voor in verschillende tijden;

The car was stolen - Past Simple. (was = verleden tijd)
Susan is called by her friends - Present Simple. (is = tegenwoordige tijd)
The laundry has not been done yet. - Present Perfect. (have/has + volt.deelw)
My package will be delivered today. - Future tense (will)

Als je een zin met een hulpwerkwoord maakt gebruik je de stam van to be.
You can print the documents now.
The documents can be printed now --> stam van to be voor printed.

Passive version is:
