Wat?
hè, toch, niet waar, of niet?
Wanneer?
- als de hoofdzin (het eerste stuk) bevestigend is, is de question tag ontkennend
- als de hoofdzin ontkennend is, is de question tag bevstigend
Hoe?
Hulpwerkwoorden (to be, can, have got, must, could, should) komen terug in de "tag".
Uitzondering?
Staan er geen hulpwerkwoorden in de zin, dan do/does/did gebruiken.
Voorbeeld?
She isn’t good at maths, is she?  They can help me, can't they?
You watch TV, don't you?  The man watches TV, doesn't he?
The man watched TV, didn't he?
