  • Bijvoeglijk naamwoord +ly = bijwoord 
  • bad + ly= badly- He drives badly.
  • slow + ly= slowly
  • usual + ly= usually
  • Let op : uitzonderingen: !!!good= well
  • fast=fast
  • daily=daily
  • friendly= in a friendly way/manner  -He talks  in a fri.endly way

Bijvoeglijk naamwoord gebruik je met zelfstandig naamwoord:
a beautiful girl,             a slow car

Bijwoord gebruik je met werkwoorden, bijvoeglijk naamwoorden, bijwoorden
The girl sings beautifully.    She drives slowly.
The girl is really beautiful. The girl sings really beautifully.

Let Op!: na deze werkwoorden to be, to taste, to smell, to look, to sound, to feel- gebruik je geen werkwoord maar een bijvoeglijk naamwoord!    
The girl is beautiful. It sounds nice . I feel good.
