Hierboven zie je een voorbeeld van een question tag.
Een question tag is de korte vraag aan het einde van de zin.
Je vraagt eigenlijk: 'klopt dat?' of 'Ben je het ermee eens?'
In het Nederlands gebruik je dan: 'vind je niet?', 'toch?', 'hè?'
 In het Engels is er een regel voor het maken van deze
question tags.

Hoe maak je een question tag?
De regel:
Na een bevestigende zin (+) is de tag ontkennend (-)
Na een ontkennende zin (-) is de tag bevestigend (+)
