When something happened in the past and it’s important when (= time indication).

>> in 2020, last year, last week, yesterday, etc <<'


[dictionary form+-ed] / [irregular verb]
Did + not + [dictionary form]
Did + [subject] + [dictionary form]?

Examples:
Did you walk to school yesterday?
I passed my test last year.

1. Started in the past, still going on now
2. something is about to start or just finished
3. happened in the past, still visible now
4. Time in the past is not important 

>> for, since, in, just, lately, recently, yet <<

[have/has] + [past participle]
[have/has] + not + [past participle]
[have/has] + subject + [past participle]?

Examples:
I have done multiple jobs for you.
She hasn’t talked to me since our fight.
