Round 1 - practise words
  • The first player takes a card and reads the word out loud.
  •  The person left to you has to give the translation. 
  • If they don't know the translation, look it up in your book and discuss it. The card goes back into the stack. 
  • Then, that person takes the next card and follows the first three steps again. 
  • Do this until everyone has had a turn.

Round 2 - write story
  • Take a card and begin to tell a story in English.
  • Keep going until you can use the word on the card.
  • After that, the person to your left takes a card and continues the story using their given word.
  • The round is finished when all of the words have been used.

Use at least 10 linking words for contrrast as well.
One person in the group writes down the story.
