Om het over de toekomst te hebben, bijvoorbeeld wanneer je wilt vertellen hoe jij denkt dat energie in de toekomst gebruikt gaat worden, kun je shall / will + hele werkwoord gebruiken.

We gebruiken adjectives (bijvoeglijke naamwoorden) en adverbs (bijwoorden) om meer informatie te geven over dingen die we zeggen of schrijven. Adjectives en adverbs zijn ook erg handig om een tekst interessanter te maken. Zorg dus dat je goed weet hoe ze werken!

Task 3 – Reflexive pronouns (wederkerende voornaamwoorden) Basis
Reflexive pronouns zijn woorden die je kunt gebruiken om extra nadruk te geven of om terug te verwijzen naar een eerder benoemd onderwerp in een zin.


De verschillende reflexive pronouns zijn:
Myself / yourself / himself / herself / ourselves / yourselves / themselves
Let op de uitgangen bij de meervoudsvormen!

Task 4 – Gerund (- ing vorm) Basis
Een gerund is een grammaticale vorm die we gebruiken wanneer we werkwoorden gebruiken als zelfstandig naamwoord. Dat klinkt ingewikkeld! Gelukkig valt het wel mee.

We gebruiken een gerund vaak na woorden die vertellen wat we ergens van denken. Zoals love, like, enjoy, hate, dislike etc. Ook gebruiken we het na woorden als start, stop, begin. Een gerund kan ook aan het begin van de zin gebruikt worden.
 
Present continuous: I don’t have time! I’m playing Fortnite right now!
Past continuous: Yesterday evening I was playing Fortnite when I had to go to bed.
Gerund: I love playing Fortnite!
