Some/any 

SOME (something, somebody etc.)

Some = positief

1. In positive sentences 

I have some milk

2. When we are offering something.

Would you like some coffee?

3.  When we are asking for something.

Could I have some salt, please?

4. When you expect the answer to be yes.

Do you have some time for me?

ANY (anything, anybody etc.)

Any = negatief

1. in negative sentence (met not/n't)

I don't have any information for you about flights to Paris.
