Wat dachten de dierenartsen nadat ze de dieren hadden onderzocht? (alinea 1)
(1) When the cubs arrived, the vets were amazed by the strange blotchy pattern on the cats' coats. They were covered in what looked like brown and black clouds, whereas common leopards would have a spot pattern. "The rangers were unaware that they'd rescued a really rare species called clouded leopards," said vet Panjit Basumatary. He and his team examined the two cubs and estimated that they were only a few weeks old. They were relieved that neither animal had any bad cuts, broken bones, or obvious illnesses, but because both of them weighed less than 1 kg, the vets feared that they were dangerously underfed. The vets tried hand-feeding the cubs cow's milk using baby bottles. Fortunately both patients ate well.
