Present = tegenwoordige tijd
Vuistregel: Je gebruikt bij I, you, we, they en you (mv) het hele werkwoord.
  • You write your name on every test. 
SHIT-regel: Je gebruikt bij he/she/it het hele werkwoord + s.
  • He writes his name on every test.

1. Eindigd het werkwoord op een sisklank? + es
watch --> watches, fix --> fixes, wash --> washes.

2. Eindigd het werkwoord op een medeklinker + y? -y +ies.
try --> tries, cry --> cries, enjoy --> enjoys

3. LET OP dat je onregelmatige werkwoorden juist vervoegd!
To go --> goes (niet gos)
to have --> has (niet haves)

Object= voorwerpsvormen
Degene waar je iets mee doet of iets aan geeft.
...aan het einde van de zin.

I = ik
you = jij
he/she/it = hij/ zij/ het
we = wij
they = zij
you (mv) = jullie

Deze voornaamwoorden zijn het onderwerp van de zin/ degene die iets doet in de zin.

Object pronouns
me = mij
you = jou
him/her/it  = hem/haar/het
us = ons
them = hen
you (mv) = jullie

Deze voornaamwoorden zijn voorwerpsvormen/ degene waar je iets mee doet of wie je iets geeft.
