Aim:

By the end of the lesson series you can write an informal letter in English describing your holiday and you  can ask your 

friend/ relative questions.

What do you think you need to be able to achieve this aim?

Success criteria:

I can understand the differences between a formal and an informal letter

I can use the lay-out of an informal letter

I can give minimum 2 examples of activities done during the last holiday (Past Simple)

I can give 2 minimum examples of things he/she will do in the next holiday (Future Simple)

I can ask questions about my friend’s holidays

I can use correct sentence structure

I can use appropriate vocabulary
