3 Step Feedback Process

Step 1
Read it: Enjoy the piece of writing for what it is. Do not make any changes or suggestions yet. Just read it and experience it.
Step 2
Read it again:
This time, point out any grammar mistakes
Suggest better vocabulary words – if it would make the piece better.
Make any suggestions on the content
For example: How could it be even better?
What was missing from the content?
Were you expecting to read something and they didn’t mention it?
Give at least one complement ! – Not just “good job”, but a complement on the content.
Step 3
Read it one last time with all of your suggestions to make sure what you suggested actually makes sense.
