Alliteration is a literary device in which a series of words start with the same consonant sound.

Alliteration is used in tongue-twisters like:
She sells seashells by the sea-shore.

But it is also used to emphasize something important that a writer wants to tell us (the readers) about.

  1. What sort of character is Rat?
  2. What evidence (bewijs) can you find in the text?
  3. Give Rat a new name that better describes his character. Use alliteration!
