Quantifiers

Some, any, much, many a lot of,  lots of, few, little

    (a) little and (a) few

(A) little en (a) few gebruik je om te zeggen dat er WEINIG van iets is. 

(a) little -> zelfstandige naamwoorden die je NIET kunt tellen. 

(a) few -> bij woorden die je WEL kunt tellen. 

    A little/A few or Little/Few

Little = weinig = ontelbaar

few = weinig = telbaar

a little = een paar

a few = een beetje 

DUS: we voegen a toe als er een beetje van iets is. Het is dus wat positiever 

    Much & Many

Much en Many om te zeggen dat er veel van iets is.

Much -> zelfstandige naamwoorden die je NIET kunt tellen.

Many -> bij woorden die je WEL kunt tellen.

Many = countable

Much = uncountable 

    Lots of and A lot of

We use lots of and a lot of when there is a large amount of something

We gebruiken lots of en a lot of in bevestigende zinnen. Niet bij vragen --> Much & Many
