Possession (bezitsvorm) 

- Gebruikt om aan te geven dat iemand iets bezit of dat iemand iets heeft.

- Om te laten zien dat er een verinternis is tussen twee mensen of meer.

- In het Engels zijn er drie manieren waarop je bezit kunt aangeven

1. Enkelvoudig zelfstandig naamwoord = 's

Voegen 's achter een naam of een enkelvoudig zelfstandig naamwoord.

2. Het naam eindigt op een -s 

Als je een naam van een persoon wiens naam eindigt op een s, een winkel, product, of tijdsaanduiding omschrijft, dan kun je beide vormen gebruiken:

3. Meervoud zelfstandig naamwoord

1. Onregelmatig zelfstandig naamwoord = 's

2. Regelmatig zelfstandig naamwoord = s'
