• Je gebruikt de past simple om te praten over dingen die in het verleden zijn gebeurd.
• Voeg -ed toe aan het werkwoord. Als het werkwoord eindigt op een -e, voeg je alleen -d toe.
  
• Als het werkwoord eindigt op een klinker (a, e, i, o, u) en daarna een medeklinker, verdubbel je de medeklinker.
  
• Als een werkwoord eindigt op een medeklinker + -y, vervang je -y door -ied.
  
• Let op! Klinker = a, e, i, o, u. Medeklinker = alle andere letter Let op 2! Onregelmatige werkwoorden moet je uit je hoofd leren
