Dog       ->     Dogs                   Attach an -s after the noun
Tree       ->     Trees
Watch   ->     Watches             After a sibilant (sisklank), you use -es
Box        ->     Boxes

Enemy  ->     Enemies             Ends with -y, change for -ies
Fl         ->     Flies

Wife       ->     Wives                   Ends with -fe, change for -ves
Knife      ->     Knives
Man -> Men                                 Mouse -> Mice

Using 'a' or 'an'
Use 'a' with normal words:
- A house, a dog, a bottle, a window, a pen, etc.
Use 'an' with vowels (klinkers):
- An apple, an answer, an essay, an order, etc.
Exceptions (uitzonderingen):
Words that end on a vowel but don't sound like it get 'a': 
- A university, A ukelele.

Words that don't end on a vowel but do sound like it get 'an': 
- An hour
