Use your voice to model singular/plural contrast clearly: book/books, watch/watches, diary/diaries.

Demonstrative pronouns

• this = near

• that = far

• these = near

• those = far

Common error: learners choose by distance only and forget singular/plural. Emphasise both ideas together.
