The Monkey's Paw (1/3)

• Sergeant-Major Morris visits the White family and shows them a magical monkey's paw, that will grant you 3 wishes. 
• He warns them that it's cursed: each wish will turn out differently than the person making the wish thought. 
• The Sergeant wants to destroy the paw, but Mr. White saves it and makes a wish for 200 pound. Nothing happens.

• The next day, the son, Herbert goes to work. 
• In the afternoon a well-dressed man stops by, and gives them the 200 pound. However, they only receive this money because Herbert has died at work. 
• Mr. and Mrs. White are incredibly sad, and bury their son in a graveyard nearby. 

The Monkey's Paw (3/3)

• A few days later, Mrs. White says she wants to use the paw to bring their son Herbert back to life. Mr. White reluctantly (met tegenzin) agrees. 
• Again, nothing happens. 
• At night, however, someone starts knocking on the door. 
• Mrs. White is very happy and goes to check, but Mr. White is scared and makes his final wish. 
• When Mrs. White opens the door, there is no-one there. They both step outside and find no-one.
