  • Better posture at work because you don't have to look up all the time

  • Blind typing is more social. Attention is essential for many professions. Think for instance of the general practitioner, the policeman or the counter clerk. They can keep looking at the person in front of them while entering text into the computer. And thus also see the non-verbal communication.

extra uitleg voor punt twee: Een NIET blindtyper, typt over het algemeen 60 – 80 (APM) aanslagen per minuut. Een geoefende NIET blindtyper haalt 100 – 140 APM. Na een cursus blind typen van 12 weken typt een gemiddelde typecursist 180 – 250 APM. Test je de typevaardigheid 2 jaar later weer, typt deze tussen de 250 – 350 APM.
