What will we do with this project?
  • You will join act as someone else and speak English.
  • You have to be in class to do this.
  • You will learn how to speak (English) in front of your class.
  • The project lasts 2 lessons.
  • Lesson 1: how to speak in front of a class
  • Lesson 2: you will speak in front of a class or in front of the teacher.

How will you be graded?

  • 60% inzet
  • 40 % spreken

Maar je krijgt niet meteen je cijfer.
  • Je cijfer wordt gecombineerd met de projecten die hierna volgen
  • Dus je krijgt pas een cijfer in de laatste lesweek.
  • Je moet dus vanaf nu elke les je best doen.

Tips for public speaking
  • Weet waar je over praat. 
  • Weet hoe je het wil presenteren.
  • Sta rechtop als je gaat spreken voor de klas.
  • Oefen, oefen, oefen!
  • Vergeet geen adem te halen.
  • Probeer rustig te praten.

  • You will create a new, fictional character.
  • You will work on a worksheet and answer questions.
  • You will write the answers in English.
  • You will put your name on the worksheet.
  • At the end, you will introduce yourself to the class as the character.
  • You can also present your character to only the teacher.
  • The teacher will also do this!
