Present Simple (vraagzin) 
Normale zin in de Present Simple:
- She plays the piano on Sundays

Dezelfde zin maar dan in de vragende vorm:
- Does she play the piano on Sundays?
- Do you play the piano on Sundays?
Let op: Als je does gebruikt vervalt de 's' achter het ww

Present simple + not (ontkennende zin)
Maak een ontkennende zin met de present simple:
She likes boxing.
Deze stappen neem je door:
  • Kijk om wie het gaat in de zin
  • Plak don't of doesn't voor het werkwoord in de zin
  • Bij he / she / it : does
    n't
  • Bij de rest : don't
  • Haal de -s in het werkwoord uit de originele zin weg als deze erin staat.
Wat wordt het dan? She doesn't like boxing.
