Als je wilt zeggen dat iets niet zo is, maak je een ontkenning. In het Engels gebruik je hiervoor simpelweg het woordje not.

Dit kan je ook doen bij de woorden have en has. Dit wordt dan:

  • Haven't (have not) = heb(ben) niet
  • Hasn't (has not) = heeft niet
