ITLS 5500

Operations and Algebraic Learning
Standard 1:  Use Addition and subtraction within 20 to solve word problems involving situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, taking apart, and comparing, with unknowns in all positions. For example, use objects, drawings, and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.
The Objectives for the Lesson:
1. Students will be able to add and subtract 3 numbers to get from 0 to 20 and 20 to 0.
2. Students will be able to compare contexts for addition and subtraction.
3. Students will be able to use linking cubes to help solve complex word problems that also involves graph.
