*Today, I am going to teach you about adjectives

*But first, what is an adjective and what do you use it for?

Adjectives
*An adjective is "Een bijvoegelijk naamwoord"

*You use an adjective to describe a noun, or the state of a noun.

*A noun can be a person, a thing, a city, a country or an animal.

*Usually, an adjective is placed infront of a noun, for example:

-That old building

*In this case, 'old' is the adjective, as it says something about the building.

*Sometimes, an adjective is placed behind the noun, in this case, the adjective gives you extra information about the subject of the sentence.

*That old building looks pretty.

*To be, look, appear en seem.

*My brother is old.
*That is a fancy restaurant
*My horse looks handsome
*What is in that tall building?

*We are going to play a little game, to see if you understand the explanation about the adjective.

Alphabetical Adjectives
*I am going to give you a paper with all of the letters of the alphabet.

*You have to come up with as many adjectives for each letter as you can.

*The group that comes up with the most, CORRECT, adjectives, wins a price.
