Mercury, The first planet from the sun, is also the smallest planet in the solar system . It is even smaller than some moons in the solar system! Compared to other planet, little is known about Mercury , it revolves very slowly. A day on Mercury lasts 58 Earth days. The temperature on the side facing the sun is around 415 'c .The temperature on the side not facing away from the sun is around -170 'c.

The name Mercury goes back to the Roman era; At that time, only seven bodies were known in space, the five brightest planets, the moon and the sun, and because they were mythical, the names of the gods were given to them, so they decided to name the planet Mercury, which means the gods of the Lord and the idol of travelers, and in English it means the planet that rotates the fastest around the sun, It was discovered by Thomas Harriot and Galileo Galilei

. Its iron inner core is covered with a crust of igneous rocks, Which has a diameter of about 600 Km.
