Jonas learns that the community does not have the option of choice - because people might make bad ones. How does this effect your life?
The Receiver keeps all the memories, good and bad, so that the citizens don't have to carry the pain. What does that mean for The Receiver? Did he choose this life? What if he doesn't want to be the carrier or memories?
