What is 3D Printing?
  • 3D printing is a process to make a real life three-dimensional (3D) object.
  • A 3D printer is a type of fabricating, industrial robot.
  • Unlike an ink-jet printer which can move only in two dimensions (2D), the parts on a 3D printer can move in three dimensions along three axes. (X, Y, & Z)
  • The 3D printer has an extruder which controls the feeding of the filament.
