What is Evaporation?
When the water from a puddle disappears, it is because the warmth from the sun caused it to evaporate. This means it turns from a liquid into a gas called water vapor and goes up into the sky!
Slide 3 - Slide
What is Condensation?
Condensation comes after evaporation. Condensation happens when the warm water vapor meets the cool air up in the sky and turns into water droplets, which become a fluffy cloud! This is also why the outside of a cold drink is wet sometimes.
Slide 4 - Slide
What is precipitation?
Precipitation is the last part of the water cycle! Precipitation happens when the clouds get so heavy with water dropets that they have to let it all out!
