The Ring of Fire
- The tectonic plates move towards each other very slowly and collide at this point
- That releases a lot of energy
- Earthquakes happen because the movement is shaky, not smooth
- Magma can go up easily where it exits as lava

A natural disaster is a disaster that is caused by the forces of nature. It usually affects a lot of people and causes a lot of damage.
Examples: earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tidal waves, typhoons, etc.
