Part 1: Translation Mistakes

Dutch: "Ik ben 20 jaar."

Literal translation: "I am 20 years."

Correct English: "I am 20 years old."

Translate to English:
"Ik ga naar huis."

Gebruik "-ing" voor dingen die "nu" gebeurt

I am going home -> Ik ga naar huis

I am eating lunch 

Translate to English:
"Zij eet een appel."

We love to use "-ing" to tell about the "now"

Dutch: "Zij eet een appel."

Literal translation: "She eats an apple."

Correct English: "She is eating an apple."

Translate to English
"Wij gaan naar de winkel."

Dutch: "Wij gaan naar de winkel."

Literal translation: "We go to the store."

Correct English: "We are going to the store."

Translate to English:
"De kat zit op de tafel."

Dutch: "De kat zit op de tafel."

Literal translation: "The cat sits on the table."

Correct English: "The cat is sitting on the table."
