Present and past conditionals

We use them when we talk about situations that are 

unlikely or impossible situations:

1. Unlikely but possible:present conditional

If I were a scientist, I would focus on my research on Saturn.

2. Impossible :Past conditional

If I had known there was a talk about Mars, I would have gone

present conditional :if + past simple + would/coul, might

If I were good at maths, I would become an astronaut

If you spent more time in France, you would learn French more quickly

past conditional : if + past perfect + would/could/might have + volt deelw ( rij 3 onreg. ww)

If I had paid attention in class more, I would have known the answer.

If I had had more time, I would have done that better

Tells you how things are being done : 

The new satellite transmits data efficiently

So How ?        In an efficient way: Efficiently

Efficiently is an adverb, it tells something about the verbb

Adverbs zonder -ly

Adverbs like the words fast and hard do not get -ly! 

That driver goes much too fast

He works very hard

But : Remember the word Hardly??

Adverbs good and bad 

Good  ;       Well, better, best

 bad :      Badly, worse, worst

So : The machines are working very well

He has really behaved badly

Comparative statements :

For Example :
