You are going to introduce your neighbour to the rest of the class.

His/her first name, his/her surname, where he/she lives, which country he/she is from, his/her age, if he/she has brothers/sisters, his/her favourite subject, colour and animal.

1. Warming up

The teacher points at something in the classroom and asks a pupil to translate the word into English or Dutch. The pupil answers the question with a complete sentence.

For example:

T: What's this called in English?

P: It's called a window. 

T: Do you know the word for rekenmachine?

P: Yes, it's calculator.

2. Let's check

Work with your neighbour and TEST EACH OTHER!

Open your books on page 17.

One of you uses the first row of words and the other uses the second row. Use all chunks alternately (afwisselend).  You answer the question with a complete sentence!
