Singular: there is (or negative: there isn't)
Plural: there are (or negative: there aren't)
Interrogative (question): Is there ...?'  (singular)  / Are there ...? (plural)

We use there is/are to say something exists (or doesn't exist)
 --> There's a computer in my bedroom but there isn't a TV.

We often use there is/are with some in affirmative sentences.
    --> There's some orange juice in the fridge.

We often use there is/are with any in negative sentences and questions.
     --> There isn't any orange juice in the fridge.
     --> Is there any orange juice in the kitchen?

We use have/has got to talk about personal attributes (our family, our hair or eyes) and our possessions.
        → I’ve got a sister. She’s got brown hair and blue eyes.
We can also use have got for timetabled events or illnesses.
        → I’ve got swimming practice at seven.
        → Fred’s got a terrible cold.
