TedTalk!
What problem did Boyan come across?
How does he want to solve it?
Do you think he idea can work?

Slide 5 - Slide

Think about a problem
On your own, or in pairs come up with a problem, this problem does not need to big, just something we can do at home, not something the whole worlds needs to take on.
– research this problem

Slide 6 - Slide

Found a problem
Once you have found a problem facing the environment, brainstorm a few solutions. Remember keep it small, something that you could make perhaps.

Slide 7 - Slide

Work on your problem
Choose one solution/drawing and check if it hasn’t already been used.
If is hasn’t, expand on it. For example, how does this invention help the environment? Why should we use it? Does making it cause damage to the environment? Is it hard to make? What is needed to make it? What do you need to do for it to help the environment? Are there other uses for it? Do not only use these questions, but also really try to ‘sell’ the environmentally friendly product.
Come up with a name for the invention and also a name for your team or yourself. Be creative.

Slide 8 - Slide

Business plan
These questions and your own questions should be used to make a mini business plan. In a business plan, you persuade the bank/buyer/sponsor to help you produce this invention. You need to put this into a formal document, where you show the product drawings and the description of the product. Also the reasoning why this invention helps the environment and the questions from above. REMEMBER: you are trying to persuade us!

Your idea
If you want, you can also made a prototype.   This is optional.
A drawing and a good description are compulsory.
You have two lessons to go from problem to solution.
Make sure that everything that you create is saved, all sources are mentioned because everything needs to be up loaded to simulise
