Tips
- Look for a place to stay way in advance.
- Get a Compass card!
- Interested in hearing a more USA (Seattle) accent? Go to Vancouver. Want to hear a more '(stereo)typical'  Canadian accent? Go to Edmonton, Alberta.
- Join a study or sport club, a church etc. (people are polite, but more reserved.)
- When in Vancouver try a 'Blenz Coffee' protein smoothie.

Finances (don't be like me)
Flight: €1200 (400 per month.)
Stay. €5110  (1703 per month.)
expenses (food, activities, souvenirs, etc.) €4845 (1615 per month)
Total: €11.155
monthly €3.718 (including the flight)
You can easily cut this down, I spent over €1500 on things I don't need. realistically expenses should be around €1100 a month if you do a lot of activities.
