  • Predictions, offers, promises, agreements, requests

  • We use future with going to when we're talking about things that you do have evidence for 
  • Plans for the future

  • Form of to be + going to + infinitive

  • We are going to visit grandma tonight.      (plans)

  • We use future present when we're talking about things that happen according to a time table

  • Present simple form

  • will (not) be  +  verb  +  -ing
