Answers: 
Winter is the season when temperatures drop, snow covers the ground, frost covers windows and icicles hang from roofs.  When the temperature is below zero, water freezes and ice forms on puddles, ponds and lakes. Children have fun sliding on the ice in puddles on their way to school.
