Adjectives
NL = Bijvoeglijke Naamwoorden

Zeggen iets over zelfstandige naamwoorden.

He is a careful driver.
The sweater feels nice and soft.

NL = Bijwoorden

Zeggen iets over werkwoorden, bijvoeglijke naamwoorden of andere bijwoorden.

We nearly missed the train.

Hoe zien deze woorden eruit?
Bijvoeglijke naamwoorden zien er "normaal" uit, bijv: careful, beautiful, dangerous etc.

Bijwoorden zijn vaak dezelfde woorden +ly, bijv: carefully, beautifully, dangerously etc.

Bij sommige bijwoorden moet je wel op de spelling letten! ->

- een woord dat eindigt op '-le' wordt 'ly'
terrible --> terribly
- een woord dat eindigt op 'y' wordt 'ily'
easy --> easily
- een woord dat eindigt op 'ic' wordt 'ically'
