Animals and Mammals

Animals: living things that grow, move, eat, reproduce and react to the world around them
Mammals: Animals that have hair, are warm-blooded and produce milk

All animals have body parts with, each with important jobs. Some body parts are similar from animal to animal. Others look very different. 
We will be learning how to sort animals by their similarities and differences. You will also look at the functions of major body parts.

Why do animals have tails…
Animals have tails for many reasons, it helps them balance, steer, defend and attack. 
Example: cats use their tales to balance
