So there are lots of different ways to make plurals in Dutch:
-s
-'s
-en
-s wordt z + en
- double last letter + en (kat-katten)
-irregular (volgt de regele niet)  (kind-kinderen; datum=data)
In English, there are also many different ways to make a plural

One rule for plural = word + s
               1 dog - 3 dogs
    1 dog

                             -y + ies
