Students will break up to form mini crews (e.g. director, camera and lighting, sound, set/art design) and research online to find scenes or screenshots from films that they thought they could inspire their creative and technical decisions (e.g., the DoP could find scenes with a lighting style that would suit certain scenes in the script, set design could look for locations in films that have the right aesthetic etc.).

After that, they will pitch how they would approach filming 'A Light in the Dark' to the room.

The writers in the group, meanwhile, will discuss the script's themes and provide constructive feedback to Ashlyn.
