How to use them?
1. Place them before the main verb
She always eats in the early morning

2. When doesn't or don't is used in the sentence, place the adverb in between don't/doesn't and the main verb:
Maddy doesn't often go out in the hot sun
I don't always like to eat spinach

Exeption!!!
When the verb 'be' is used in the sentence (am, are, is) the adverb of frequency comes after the verb

She is usually late

They are never at school
