1. Should (not) + hele werkwoord:  = zou moeten / advies --> You should study harder.

2. must (not) + hele werkwoord als JIJ vindt dat iets (niet) moet / sprake van verbod. 
I must help her / You musn't overtake here.

3.  have to + hele werkwoord om zekerheid, noodzaak of verplichting uit te drukken. Iets moet van iemand anders.
I have to submit this report tomorrow.

4. don't have to / doesn't have to + hele werkwoord = niet hoeven
You don't have to go if  you don't want to.
